The Biomimicry Institute is excited to host our 5th Annual Biomimicry Education Summit. The Summit brings together practicing biomimicry college and university professors, and formal and informal youth educators from around the world to engage, collaborate, and network. Biomimicry is the practice of learning from and emulating nature's best ideas to solve environmental, business, and design challenges in a sustainable manner. Today's students want skills that will help them succeed and allow them to work according to their ethics in a rapidly evolving world. Biomimicry is a tool that provides students a roadmap for systems thinking, cross-discipline collaboration, and sustainable innovation.
Experienced biomimicry educators will share the challenges and solutions they’ve discovered in their classrooms. Those new to biomimicry as well as educators already familiar with the subject will glean new insights, materials, and support from the education staff at The Biomimicry Institute and our diverse line-up of speakers, including: Dr. Frank Fish, Dr. Wes Jackson, and Jeannette Yen. If you are interested in bringing biomimicry into your classroom or would like to know more about how to integrate biomimicry into your learning materials, please attend our education summit.
