The average person uses 60 plastic sandwich and/or snack bags a month and worldwide only .5% to 3% of all bags wind up recycled. (BBC, CNN). Though there are many ways to completely cut out the use of plastic bags, this is just one of our favorites. By repurposing gently used fabrics such as dishtowels and table cloths, learn how to make your own reusable food bags. Not only do these look cooler than plastic bags, you'll be doing something good for Mother Earth and hopefully inspiring those around you to make good happen. It will be great fun for the whole family, but please be aware the class will involve hand sewing (however, a sewing machine will be provided for any additional help!).
Class Fee: $12 per person, or $10 per person for families or groups of 3 or more attending together.
To pre-register for this class, please visit us at our website or call us during our normal business hours at (949) 854-5500.
