Through the generous support of Structure Tone and the EPA, Dallas/Ft Worth area teachers have access to TEKS aligned STEM based K-12 sustainability curriculum covering seven themes: water, waste, energy, air, transportation, food, and public spaces. Teachers can get started by going to ecorise.org/enroll.
Dallas/Ft Worth area teachers are invited to join us for an upcoming classroom grants training on Saturday, February 9th from 9:30am-12:00pm at the Meadows Conference Center. Breakfast and coffee will be served. You can see an example of a Ft Worth awarded grant application here.
During the training, we will walk you through planning a classroom grant with your students and determine where it fits best with the content you are already teaching in the Spring. An EcoRise Teacher Ambassador will be on hand to answer questions and support your planning. We will review the EcoRise resources that are available to you, giving you everything you need for this streamlined, student ready process!
