We are working with Doug Retzler (local artist, festival coordinator, and environmental activist), the Friends of Carrie Murray Nature Center, other park "Friends" groups, Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, and groups to be announced later.
Our goal is to raise funding and awareness for the park and Nature Center by hosting a multi-cultural festival to celebrate spring, eco awareness, art, and everything fairy! We would really like to make this a successful annual event and need you to make that happen!
Some of you have participated in past festivals at the Center like Wild Wings, Fairies & Things, Bug Fest, Fall Harvest Festival, and Earth Day Festival. This event will be on a much grander scale and will take place over a much larger area.
We are looking for vendors who would like to sell:
• sparklies, baubles, yummies
• wings, fuzzie, choskies
• whozits and whatsits galore.
We also need:
• groups and organizations that want to educate and inform
• face painters,
• henna artists,
• tree huggers,
• fairies, brownies, sprites, elves, wood nymphs,
• gelflings, unicorns, sadors, gnomes, trolls, hobbits, goblins, ogres, and ents!
We hope to hear from you about helping to make this an event to remember.
We will only charge a nominal fee of $20 per table plus a donation of10% of your sales to benefit the Center, our wildlife rescue efforts, and to build a hoop house to replace the greenhouse that was destroyed by last years snow.
Please download and fill out the vendor application at (http://www.carriemurraynaturecenter.org/events/festival/)
We look forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time!
