Event Description

Mark your calendars for ALNC’s annual spooky celebration!  Join us for a fun-filled evening of outdoor activities with your family as we celebrate the “Creatures of the Night” in not-so-scary style!  Come dressed in costume and join in the costume parade!

  • Conduct some kooky candy experiments!
  • Roast marshmallows over a roaring campfire!
  • Make nocturnal animal crafts!
  • Explore hands-on, interactive exhibits including, the Science On a Sphere, weather and climate exhibits, the Madison Gas and Electric Renewable Energy Center, the Nina Leopold Bradley Family Phenology Center, Kids’ Climate Cast brought to you by WKOW-TV 27 and more!
  • Participate in a Costume Parade for the kids!
  • See the Bone Yard!
  • Visit The Haunted Shack!
  • Search for nocturnal animals in the mysterious and A-MAZE-ing Basswood Tree!
  • Enjoy autumnal refreshments!
