Join us for a gathering on the subject of food and sustainability. We’ll enjoy eats from Avanti Café and watch some short films about local food. Eugene Cooke, urban farmer, will discuss the how’s and why’s of Urban Gardening and share simple tools to grow where you are!
Karma, the law of the circle, what goes around comes around, you reap what you sow – call it what you like! Eugene will discuss non-dogmatic philosophy about the concept of karma and how we can get back in touch with the seasons, cycles of the moon and our own center through gardening. Learn how the garden encourages a cleaner diet, sharing & giving and helps us to reconnect to our center. Eugene will inspire you with both ideas and practical information to begin connecting growing food with your health and wellness. Sow some gardening karma – bring some cuttings from your garden to share with the group!
