The Children Learning with Nature Conference 2013 is a gathering of leading voices from around the world coming together to share and exchange ideas about creating spaces and places for children that are full of joy and wonder. It’s about creating great environments whether in urban settings with tiny outdoor spaces, or large rural open spaces, as well as everything in between. Beyond environments there will be great emphasis about teaching methodologies and practices.
The conference goes beyond the core concept of Children Learning with Nature, to include sessions on Research; Art; Risk Management; Mathematics; Men in Childcare; International Perspectives; and Playscape Design.
More importantly we will discuss the fundamental idea that children are competent skilled partners in learning, and whose voices are central to the process. We will be sharing examples of spaces and practices from around the globe that will inspire you. The conference will be several days of magic, with time for sharing and growth.
