Event Description

Honey Projects for 5th-8th Grade Grads
 Tuesday, August 12

It is well known that bees’ honey is good for eating, but did you know it is also good for healing wounds and moisturizing skin? First discover some fascinating facts about hive life, then use honey and beeswax to make a body care product such as healing salve or lip balm. Finally, taste test pollen and a variety of honeys and even “bee-come” a chef and make a honey-based snack!  Take home projects and recipes. Limit 16, Learning Center
