Event Description

If you're looking for a fun outdoor experience with kids or grandkids, please join us at Buhr Park on Sunday, May 23. We'll be planting wildflowers in a third wet meadow in the northwest section, near Allen School.

We’ll start at 10 AM with a seed dance, then add plants throughout the day. You can do a few plants or a large number, depending on your children's attention span and energy level. Take a break and enjoy music by Joe Reilly, and parachute games on the grass. There will be kids of all ages, and several special opportunities for pre-teens and older youth.

Bring a water bottle, sun protection, gloves and tools. Please leave pets at home.
