Event Description

In partnership with Time Warner Cable's "Connect a Million Minds" more than 3,000 hours of conservation education were delivered to youth at the 2011 Cape Fear Wildlife Expo.  Our goals: to reconnect youth with the outdoors, foster their enthusiasm for NC's natural resources; and to foster their interest in science.  Both public schools and home school teams enjoyed a full day of interactive activities following academic standards for math, social studies and science.  Games, wild animals, interactive displays and a "Wild Child" scavenger hunt were enjoyed by all

We'll do it again in 2012!  March 16, 2012, Cape Fear Wildlife Expo, Wilmington NC
