Have you ever wondered where to find the best, easy hikes for kids in the Sacramento area? Here’s an opportunity to ask an expert!
On May 8th, from 1-3pm Jordan Summers, author of 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Sacramento, Easy Hikes Close to Home: Sacramento and Five Star Hikes around Lake Tahoe will be giving a presentation on his favorite family friendly hikes in the Sacramento area.
Jordan Summers has extensive experience hiking, guiding, and “spending absurd amounts of time living and breathing the rock, snow, duff, and dirt.” His books are known for their precise maps, descriptive text, photos, trailhead coordinates, as well as special notes on the geology, cultural history, and the natural beauty of the places that he writes about.
Signed copies of his books will also be on sale in the Trailmix.Net Old Sacramento Store at a 15% discount off of the regular retail price.
Admission is free, bring a friend, plan a hike!
RSVP is not required, but we always appreciate it if you can let us know you are coming. You can either call us at 916-498-9090 or tell us you are coming on our facebook page: http://facebook.trailmix.net .
