Event Description

Our naturalist studies and wildlife tracking program is a perfect outdoor activity for parents to do with their kids.

Class 1 of 6: Central Texas Hill Country Waterways

Each session of this tracking program will cover a different region and the tracks that are unique to that area. Learn about the flora and fauna that flourish in the arid caves and waterways of the Central Texas region.

Class 1 will be taught in the Austin area.  *Each class explores a different region!

This course will enter into the detective world of the Wildlife Tracker. Students will spend 6 weekends traveling together around Texas spending time in a variety of bioregions studying a multitude of species. Everything from mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects will be explored.

This is also an excellent course for youth who are home-schooling and want a new and exciting way to look at environmental science.  It is educational and a great way for parents to bond and explore nature together with their kids while learning about the exciting world of nature just beyond our reach.

The program has 6 classes. There is a discount for signing up for the full Level 1 program.  The first 3 classes can be taken as individuals.  The second 3 classes require the first 3 in order to attend, as they are more advanced.

Full Level 1 Program: $700, and includes textbook.  *ask about family discount.

Class 1 Only:  $150/person.  Full course details are online:  http://www.thehumanpath.com/tracking-certification.htm
