Take part in NCC’s new Creative Conservation Challenge!
We want you to get your creative juices flowing and get inspired by nature!
Being outdoors speaks to us in so many ways, and we want to see how nature speaks to you!

How it works: Each month NCC will post a new Creative Conservation Challenge on the website. Centred around a Conservation Volunteers theme, like trees or invasive plants, we will give you a list of items that you can find in nature and then it's your turn to get creative! You can express your connection to nature through writing, artwork, photography, film, music, cooking, or any other way you can think of!
Then send us your creations! We want you to send us a photograph, video or audio clip of your masterpiece and we will post it on our Flickr account and CV website!
July’s theme is INSECTS!
Get outside and be inspired by all of the insects that are emerging in this beautiful summer weather! Take a photograph of a butterfly, sketch a dragonfly, make bee-shaped cookies, write a song about the ants that crashed your picnic....the possibilities are endless, so get creative and show us what you can do!
Come out and discover Canada's insects at one of our Conservation Volunteers events this summer!
Be as creative as possible and allow yourself to be inspired by the many insects flying around you to create something incredible!
Please submit all photos to Mallory.Fischer [at] natureconservancy.ca
