Event Description

Throughout time, artists have used the vehicle of art to glorify nature, to subjugate nature, and most currently, to make important statements about the environmental issues we face. Join in this workshop to create your own sculpture using natural elements such as sticks, pebbles, leaves and shells. We’ll practice pattern, repetition, balance and form to create unique works that gives gratitude to our environment.

This class is part of the Center for Living Peace/Orange County Museum of Art Community Partnership, in conjunction with State of Mind: New California Art Circa 1970 on view at the Orange County Museum of Art beginning September 4, 2011.

Class Fee: $12 per person, or $10 per person for groups/families of 3 or more

To pre-register for this class, please visit us at our website or call us during our normal business hours at (949) 854-5500.
