Event Description

We will meet at Elena Gallegos Double Shelter parking lot then go to our circle area in the amphitheater. From here we will plan our expeditions onto the trail with our nature journals, cameras and water.

  1. Animal tracks - In this nature activity of animal tracks, we will see one of the signs that amimals leave for us.
  2. The "techniques" that good Coyote mentors apply with students are mainly efforts at helping them get engaged and/or excited. Questioning is superb in stirring curiosity to develop engagement.
  3. Nature (quiz) discussion.
  4. Closing nature circle.
  5. Then we will bring all the kids together for a community experience and closing nature circle to share.
