Event Description

We’re planting 100 new trees in the along the San Diego River… and you can be a part of it! Come get your hands dirty digging holes, planting trees, watering, and more.

This fun event is a great opportunity to make new friends, give back, learn about urban forests, and have a lasting effect on people and wildlife. By planting new trees in Walker Preserve you will be improving habitat for local animals and beautifying a local green space.

• All ages welcome.
• Tools are provided.
• No experience necessary.
• Dress in clothes that can get a little dirty.
• Closed toe shoes required.
• Bring plenty of water and wear sun protection.
• Community service hours can be verified.
• Please note that there are no restrooms on site.
