Conservation Camp provides positive educational outdoor experiences, helps foster appreciation and understanding of nature, and introduces a variety of opportunities in natural resources and conservation careers. Professionals from various natural resource and conservation agencies present programs on topics like wildlife, habitat, ecosystems, water quality, fisheries, forestry, and conservation career information.
Students that will be attending grades 6, 7, and 8 in the fall and have an interest in the outdoors are encouraged to attend. Both Wisconsin and Upper Michigan residents are welcome. Space is limited and registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration packet will be available by end of February.
Cost is $100 per camper ($150 if postmarked after May 18th). The fee covers food/lodging, instruction, educational materials and a tee-shirt. Registration cutoff date is June 1.
