Event Description

Free to all ages.
REI PEAK Program: free outreach program designed to educate children about enjoying and caring for the outdoors.
Nature Treasure Hunt: a family or group event to discover natural treasures in the park
Interpretive Walk: ADA, stroller accessible 1 mile walk with volunteers from the Audubon Society and
the Maricopa County Parks available to answer your questions.
Challenge Hike: starts at 3PM from the education center led by South Mountain rangers; 5-mile round
trip hike on the Holbert Trail (medium difficulty)
Papa Murphy Pizza: delicious cheese and pepperoni slices available; donations suggested with proceeds to benefit a trail project at South Mountain Preserve.
