The Environmental Nature Center (ENC) is presenting a Spring Break Nature Camp for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade from April 4-7, 2016. The camp will offer participants to choose from a full day of camp, 9am to 3pm, or a half-day of camp, 9am to 1pm. Full day of camp is $265 and half day is $180. Members receive a 10% discount.
Each day, campers will be divided into small groups by age and rotate between three fabulous Camp Teachers. Each group will explore different themes throughout the day and participate in exciting, fun, age appropriate activities. This years Spring Break Nature Camp themes include: Amazing Animals, Science, Crafts & Exercise, Nature Play, Let’s Make Stuff, and Fruity Fun.
During “Amazing Animals” all campers will play the “Amazing Animals Game Show” and meet our four legged coworkers. During “Nature Play” campers will be given the opportunity to play, explore, and create in nature. During “Science, Crafts & Exercise!” campers will explore science projects they can replicate at home with supervision, create crafts, and learn that exercise is also fun and important for a well-rounded life.
In addition, our full day campers will get the opportunity to participate in “Let’s Make Stuff” and “Fruity Fun!” Older campers will learn how to make lots of different fun and interesting crafts like rocket bottles and paper beads during “Let’s Make Stuff” and our younger campers will “grow” Gummi Worms and Bears in a fun and educational science experiment during “Fruity fun!”
