Event Description

Join us March 9th for Relaxing Family Star Gazing at Crew Land and Water Trust located in Immokalee Florida from 7 to 10pm.   Please Pre-REGISTER for the CREW Star Gazing event at this link.
Observe Jupiter and four of its moons!  the Orion Nebula, various Star Clusters and some far off Galaxies like M81 and M82.  We will have several 10" telescopes set up at Gate Five, in Star Gazers Field.  We will also be pointing out the bright stars and Constellations above the CREW Watershed.  If we listen, we might even hear Owls and see fireflies along the edges of our field.
Bring lounge chairs and blankets, snacks (a garbage bag for your wrappers) a dim flashlight, your binoculars and your sense of wonder as we experience a different side of CREW - after dark and by star light !  We'll help you to learn the Constellations and tell you where to find cool looking objects in space via your binoculars.  See the signup page for more information.
Download a March Star Chart here to take on your next overnight!

Hope to see you soon!
