Event Description

A special summer intensive on educating for sustainability, for current and future teachers, parents, and others caring for children. We tend the roots of sustainability when we inspire children to perceive, to probe, to question; to be astounded by the intricacy of nature; to understand and to value the interconnectedness of all beings and processes

Hands-on training in how to help students experience, understand, and value the wisdom of nature. With Craig Holdrege and Henrike Holdrege. Guest presentation by biologist George Russell, former editor of Orion magazine and editor of Children and Nature: Making Connections.This course will help develop awareness and skills that can be creatively adapted and evolve.
