Event Description

Mountain Lions (also known as cougars, panthers, pumas, and catamounts) are making a comeback. Learn more about Mountain Lions and their presence in Southern New England.
Bill Betty, a mountain lion lecturer who attended the 9th Mountain Lion Workshop in Sun Valley, Idaho last spring, will give a 90 minute presentation which covers all aspects of their behavior. Observe a skull, tracking maps, cougar lures, scat samples, etc. Learn how to collect evidence as well as advice on where and when to search for this fascinating creature.
