Event Description

Half- and Full-Day Camps: Explore wetlands, woodlands, & lake during our week-long ecology camps with hands-on activities and live wild animal experiences. Ages 4-13. June 27-August 12. Different sessions available for each age group.

July 11-15: Pond Paradise (Ages 7-8). What creatures lurk in the waters of Cedar Run? You'll explore the puddles, ponds, and swamps of the Refuge. You'll follow a frog's footsteps, find meat-eating plants, and see what else awaits you in the heart of Pond Paradise. It will be a wild and wet week of mysterious creatures and water wonders.

Awesome Adventurers (Ages 9-10). Are you ready for this adventure? You and your team will explore the Refuge, and find yourself challenged to "survive" a week in the Pines. You will build a survival shelter in the woods, use a map and compass, go in search of the Jersey Devil. You will get to see some animals too! Join us, as we discover the Refuge as never before!
