A lot of things have happened in the last couple of years, in the Children and Nature Movement, and in many of our lives. C&NN is seeking testimonials about this from You.
Teachers, parents, grandparents, young people, nature center directors, health professionals, policy makers -- If your life has been touched by the movement, and by C&NN in particular, we want to hear from you.
You can add your testimonial here in this discussion, or e-mail it to suz@childrenandnature.org. And let us know if we can share it with others. There are some wonderful and inspirational testimonials already up on the C&NN blog:

I think you'll agree that there's a distinct power in reading and sharing the personal stories of people whose lives have been profoundly touched by the movement to get children out in nature. I hope you'll consider adding yours.
Here's to a wonderful nature-filled holiday and 2011 for all!

C&NN has been a valuable information point for me in terms of the blogs, articles and research volumes. It has helped me raise the profile of the need for nature-based education.
I'm particularly pleased to be able to meet other people through C&NN Connect. The sharing of ideas and experiences is invaluable. As the saying goes "In a truly educational environment, experiences and ideas interact to create knowledge that feeds the seed of wisdom." It's also interesting in that this is becoming a mecca for authors who have written nature or outdoor books.
Hi Juliet! Thank you so much for adding your voice to the growing list of C&NN testimonials. You've been such a wonderful supporter and ally. I'm always inspired by your excellent work and good cheer. I wish you a fabulous and fruitful 2011 and look forward to continued collaboration.

It is very nice to have this resource available to us. It provides a valuable source of support and ideas for the many parents who would like to join this movement but aren't sure how. Before I was aware of C&NN I began collecting all the publications I could find on the topic of introducing children to nature for our fledgling Nature Club. I found a lot of good resources but was completely ignorant of the fact that others were embarking on the very same journey, until one of those resources turned out to be Louv's remarkable book. Then I discovered this fine forum and now feel like there is nothing we can't accomplish together. By supporting each other in this movement I believe we can truly make a difference in the lives of our children. Thanks for all you do. Keep up the good work!
