New book Snow Secrets

This new fiction book is for children 8-12 years old.  Three main themes:

Having children experience viscerally the wonder of being outdoors

Supporting girls in nature

Dealing with the different kind of learning styles.  Sarah is school smart and Jasmine learns more from the outdoors than from skill.

I wrote it, but the illustrations were drawn by Kristina Hickman in New Hampshire. I'm getting very good publicity. I've linked to Vermont Public Radio. If only I could get Richard Louv to review it would fly off the shelves. It is the message he wants to get out.
