Worlds Around Us was released this week and 100% free. Written by teachers and scientists around the country and 84 pages long, Worlds Around Us uses the excitement children have for the book Olivia Brophie and the Pearl of Tagelus to teach them science such as Linnaean classification, geology, biological diversity, weather, and aquifers among other topics.

Language Arts vocabulary, quizzes, and lessons are combined with science lessons, activities, and experiments such as finding your own tardigrade. As students read a book that they love to read on their own, teachers can easily transfer that engagement into the science classroom.

Here is the link for the free downloads. No registration, no login. 100% free.
