The Natural Leaders Network empowers a worldwide youth movement to strengthen the bond between children and nature.
A movement is here. It has arrived and it needs leaders. A legacy lies ready to be written and the ink for that legacy is within the energy of a young diverse generation.

Twenty-four young Americans participated in the 2012 Natural Leaders Legacy Camp from August 31 – September 5, 2012 at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, with generous support from The North Face, the REI Foundation, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Hi Folks -- I hope you all know about the Public Listening Sessions on the President's Great Outdoors Initiative. The Dept. of Interior really wants to hear from Natural Leaders and Local Youth in L.A. July 8. Upcoming sessions in Neb. & NC. http://bit.ly/cjO86R

I'm headed out there and there are about 10 other Natural Leaders joining the bigger group of 500 youth that will be in NYC for the Outdoor Nation Summit. It looks like it will be a great event!

Events on the couple of days leading up to and following Natural Leaders Day will be honored as Natural Leaders Day events. We understand that people may have had prior commitments because of Easter. Also, exploring the outdoors with Easter eggs and family is one of the best ways to do it!

Too bad Natural Leaders Day is the day before Easter! I'm already committed with my family and church.

Sorry for the plethora of messages you'all, but Hanna's smarter and more insightful than me! Natural Leaders Day is on April 3rd. Let's plan some great events this year!

Hey all! Natural Leaders Day is actually on April 3rd, so you should do what Matt says a month earlier!

I wanted you all to know that a coalition of outdoor advocacy groups is asking for inclusion of a Nature component in Michelle Obama's new campaign against childhood obesity. Nature and outdoor play need to be a part of this campaign. bit.ly/9Rt67b

Howdy folks! I wanted to share a project I'm working on called NOAH. It's a free mobile application that nature lovers can use to explore and document local wildlife and a platform that research groups can use to harness the power of citizen scientists. If you're interested, please check out the NOAH group I set up or our website: http://www.networkedorganisms.org -- I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas. Thanks! Regards, Yasser
