Too bad Natural Leaders Day is the day before Easter! I'm already committed with my family and church.

Sorry for the plethora of messages you'all, but Hanna's smarter and more insightful than me! Natural Leaders Day is on April 3rd. Let's plan some great events this year!

Hey all! Natural Leaders Day is actually on April 3rd, so you should do what Matt says a month earlier!

I wanted you all to know that a coalition of outdoor advocacy groups is asking for inclusion of a Nature component in Michelle Obama's new campaign against childhood obesity. Nature and outdoor play need to be a part of this campaign. bit.ly/9Rt67b

Howdy folks! I wanted to share a project I'm working on called NOAH. It's a free mobile application that nature lovers can use to explore and document local wildlife and a platform that research groups can use to harness the power of citizen scientists. If you're interested, please check out the NOAH group I set up or our website: http://www.networkedorganisms.org -- I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas. Thanks! Regards, Yasser

Hello all!
I am working with a group of other students to create a network for garden based educators in NY State-- we want to connect educators here with the hope that the network can be used for educators in other states!

If you participate in garden or farm based education (regardless of location!) please take a few minutes (3-5) to fill out our survey!

Feel free to forward this link on to anyone who might be interested!

Thank you!
Jesse

Ok NLNs I'm a huge fan of Zach Pine. If any of you are in the Bay Area you should take him up on his offer. Wonderful work in the spirit of outdoor play.

If you're not in the Bay Area
[+] Check out his web site for inspiration!

Working with groups and in schools, I connect people with the environment through creating temporary artwork using nature. Any Natural Leaders who are interested in learning more about this approach are welcome to come join me any time during the first 3 weekends of December at my "Open Studio" events. See naturesculpture.com for the details.

I sure wish you had a Natural Leaders Network here in Calgary, AB! An inspiring workshop would be awesome right now.
