Here is one article that is a little dated but may be of use Houston Parks.  In my opinion many people want to do programs like these but do have enough support.  By keeping this discussion going there could be more ideas forming.

Leave No Child Inside - Greater Cincinnati publishes a Grow Outside Guide to Outdoor play aimed at providing parents with ideas and resources.  It incorporates a Nature for All Abilities section.  If anyone has other national (or Greater Cincinnati) resources that should be added to this, we would love to know about them! http://www.lncigc.org/nature-for-all-abilities/
