Wouldn't it be GREAT?!

Hey Natural Families Network Friends!

I've been doing a lot of "promoting" for this year's "ClifKids Backyard Game of the Year" contest because I think it provides a great opportunity to motivate youngsters (between the ages of 6 -12) to do something they hopefully do anyway: create an outdoor/backyard game!

We all know that kids are happier, healthier, smarter, and more creative when they spend unstructured time learning and playing outdoors, right? I think it would be GREAT if the winner of this year's contest came from a family nature club! Be sure to pass on this link in any communications you have with your groups (and your friends):

The contest deadline is June 17th and the prizes are worth the effort. The six finalists will be flown (with their families, up to 4 people I believe) to San Francisco where they will present their game and win a new bike! The grand prize is a $10,000 scholarship! Encourage eligible kids to submit their entries before the deadline. Let's all root for a kid from a family nature club to WIN this year, hopefully with a nature-based game!
