Comment by Perrin Weston Coman on May 15, 2012 at 9:29am This sweet mini-donkey is arriving just in time for our art and natural science summer camps beginning June 11. She is about 1.5 years old, born in Texas, and is little miss personality-plus. Animals at Art Farm learn to draw and paint using our farm animals as models. I have been wanting a spotted mini-donkey for some time, so I am thrilled to welcome this girl to our family of animals. Students at our week-long summer camps will also be working this summer with, Marilisa Markey, a highly skilled local trainer who trains animal actors. We look forward to teaching this yet-t0-be named jenny. If anyone has some name suggestions, please post here. Also, we invite parent groups and their kids to visit Carlsbad Art Farm, located in north coastal San Diego County, prior to summer camp if you would like to preview our program. To schedule a group tour, email director Perrin Weston Coman and note in the subject line that you are a C&NN group. Click here for summer camp dates and online registration.
