Amy is the Youth Stewardship Education Program Coordinator for Wallowa Resources and is also on the board for Environmental Education Association of Oregon. Amy got her bachelors at University of California, Santa Barbara thinking she would have a career in marine and coastal ecology. Yet, once she discovered her love of teaching at a residential camp, she learned she enjoyed sharing the outdoors with others no matter the topic. This love took her to jobs all over west and even to the remote corners of Alaska. Eventually, she landed back in school and got a master’s of science in environmental education and certificate in nonprofit management at Southern Oregon University. Yet this love for the outdoors has never stop and neither has Amy. Look for her flying by either in running shoes, on her bike, in hiking boots on the way to a peak, on her skis, or on the soccer field.
