Andrea’s love nature, and quest for sustainability, has led her to a path of teaching, by bringing both nature into schools, and students out of the classroom. The integration of her love of nature and science in the classroom culminated with her Master’s thesis; “How organic gardens can create a greater sense of community in public schools.” She is currently completing her dissertation on the topic of, “Sacred Groves and Traditional Environmental Knowledge” fusing both environmental ethics, and spiritual beliefs.
