I grew up in Western North Carolina. After a 24 year period of my adult life living in eastern Georgia I moved back to my beloved mountains in 2001. I am in my 31st year of teaching elementary age students. I hold an IMA degree in Natural Sciences from the University of South Carolina and love teaching about Science and the Natural World to young children.
