Bio
The Bennion Center fosters lifelong service and civic participation by engaging the University with the greater community in action, change, and learning. As part of that mission statement we recognize that all of us are connected to Earth communities and are all affected by our actions to our environment. One of five issue areas is Environmental Stewardship (others Social Justice, Health and Ability, Education and Advocacy, and International). The programs which fall under the Environmental Stewardship Banner are dedicated to a harmony with the planets and wise choices which will sustain all life on this planet.

  • The Bennion Center Campus Recycling

Volunteers boost recycling on campus by educating University students, staff, faculty and administrators. Opportunities to volunteer range from improving the current usage by composting with campus gardens to recycling in Olpin Union. Campus Recycling is open to all volunteer ideas in support of recycling, reusing, and reducing campus waste.
