Bethe writes, speaks and consults as The Grass Stain Guru, and is considered a thought leader on play and nature, and a huge proponent of social media. (Make sure to tune into the #playoutdoors #nature #ECE and #GoPlay discussions on Twitter!)

Currently, Bethe is the Director of Education & Outreach for Head Start Body Start National Center for Physical Development and Outdoor Play, and blogs at The Body Smart Blog. She was also co-founder of the National Wildlife Federation’s Green Hour®, and has consulted with KaBOOM! and the Alliance for Childhood, among others.

A gifted speaker and trainer, Bethe also specializes in inclusive education and accessibility issues for individuals with disabilities, and believes that nature is an amazing way to reach and teach everyone.
