Glad you went to PR and not Haiti. Sorry to hear about the cold. Cheryl and I haven't finalized our half-day workshop at NAA yet, but one part will be a panel of diverse nature-based after-school programs that connect with various groups of school age kids....and perhaps even pre-school. Your work with HSES kids would make a strong statement about health and behavior change impact of being in nature, to substantiate what the research is showing. Glad you are considering. Nice opportunity to catch up.
ps there is a Natural Leaders gig in Central Park in June. You and Nia might want to get some HSES kids involved. If interested, I'll let Juan Martinez know. Also, annual gathering is in New Jersey in August. jt
Hey, what's cookin' in the Big Apple? Are you still considering coming to DC for the National After-School Assn. meeting to join Cheryl and me in a presentation on April 18? Hope all is well with you and Nia. John
Our pre-conference presentation is Sunday April 18 and the Conference runs for 3 more days after that. I'll hang around to network, and I think Cheryl will also. I'd like you to meet some folks there if you can make it, in addition to the thousands you already know. Happy Thanksgiving. jt
I am so pleased you have joined this site and jumped in with videos and Group selections. You are the best. Hope you are still thinking about joining us in DC for the National Afterschool Assn. Conference.
