Bio

Calder Cheverie is the Summer Camp and Outdoor Education Director of Sasamat Outdoor Centre – a year-round conference centre, outdoor education facility and children’s summer camp. A graduate of International Development Studies and Environmental Politics from Trent University, Calder has been involved with the YMCA and outdoor education for 10 years through Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Prior to stepping on to direct the summer camp and outdoor ed. programs of Sasamat, he worked as an Ecological Intern adviser for the Canadian Government out of Calgary, Alberta.
