Daisy Griffin enjoys writing books that educate as well as delight her readers. She graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a degree in Zoology. She is an award winning educator, developing curriculum that brings ecology lessons alive for young children. She is very active in local ecology awareness programs, and is employed at the Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve.
When she is not rescuing animals from the many things they can get into on their own, she and her husband are raising three children, who are as much or more interested in creatures as she is.
Hi Daisy! Warm welcome to C&NN Connect. I'm the forum host. I'm glad you found us and hope you make yourself at home in discussions and groups. Our Natural Teachers Network will probably interest you, among others. We also have a group called Storytelling about Nature, and a general discussion, under the discussion tab where people are listing books they've written. (Let me know if you need help finding it.)
I hope you'll share your activities, ideas and photos with us and find this a rich source of resources. For any questions about the network, see our FAQ page. Hope to see you here again soon. Cheers!
