Bio: For the Love of Nature is a premier educational outreach organization for Abilene and education initiatives in West Texas. FTLON is a member of the Texas Children In Nature grassroots campaign that unites organizations across the state developing a strategic plan with The Texas Partnership for Children In Nature, the state’s formal plan to enable children to spend more time out-of-doors and to better understand Texas' natural resources. We are working in collaboration with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and are also partnered with national campaigns such as Nature Rocks and Children & Nature Network (C&NN). FTLON offers the community and people of all ages a variety of educational and recreational opportunities including:
Wildlife outreach programs
Eco activities
Conservation service projects

Learn how natural resources are beneficial to you and your community by a trained Master Naturalist and Certified TPWD “Growing Up Wild” Teacher
