Bio
Born in Belfast, Geoffrey served in the British Army for 22 years, where I learnt some of his Survival skills. I received a British Empire Medal (BEM) from the Queen in the New Year’s Honours List for establishing a Nature Reserve in Germany. While working in Belize I gained experience in Jungle Survival from Winston, a renowned survival expert.

On returning to the UK I trained with Thomas Schorr-kon from Trackways & Tom Brown Jr at the Tracker School in the USA. A keen ‘Birder’, I have taken part in bird projects & ringing programmes; throughout the world – I have illustrated several bird books.

In 2008 I completed a Master’s (MSc) in Addiction Psychology at London Southbank University, my research Explored How People with Addictions Experienced Nature-Awareness as a Therapeutic Intervention & in 2009 I presented Natural Awareness at the 7th Wilderness Therapy Symposium at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado USA.

I have been developing Natural Awareness as a therapeutic intervention which has been successfully used with children, young adults and adults in rehabs & other organisations from the UK, Europe to the USA.

I am the author of Discover Nature Awareness, a series of nature games books for children and adults of all ages and backgrounds.

I continue my personal/professional development & I am the proud father of Janine & Nickie Sara.
