Bio
I provide direct support to families who have children with mental health and behavioral challenges, this ranges from helping families navigate systems, one-on-one work and organizing support groups. I am responsible for 5 Oregon counties. I am also a member of Oregon's Addictions and Mental Health Policy & Management Council, as well as numerous other committees.
I am a NAMI Basics trainer & on the Board for NAMI Mid-Valley.
My involvement has grown out of my own need for help and support with our three adopted children. This has led me to now to put back more than I have taken!

Hi Hilary, Warm welcome to C&NN Connect. I'm the forum host. I'm glad you found us and hope you make yourself at home in discussions and groups. Our Natural Families Network and our Nature as Therapy group will probably interest you, among others. In addition, we have a fair number of people here from Corvallis and the surrounding area. I hope you'll share your activities, ideas and photos with us and find this a rich source of resources. For any questions about the network, see our FAQ page. Hope to see you here again soon. Cheers!
