James, thanks for this invitation to participate in the EduStrategies Online School discussion forum. I will take a look and probably post a few children and nature comments to stir the pot. Please make this same offer to all of the participants on our Natural Teachers Network Group site after you sign up, which I am sure will be soon. I will follow up that post with some encouragement. Your sharing of your knowledge, experience and leadership is greatly appreciated. John
Thanks for joining the Natural Teachers Network. I hope you will share your ideas and suggestions for teachers to use the natural world as an extension of their classroom. It sounds like you have a lot of experience with "educational strategies" and teachers will need all the help they can get to overcome the inherent barriers of a rule-bound system. Stories abound about what amazing learning transformations occur when kids are in nature. Thanks again for joining and I hope to see your posts often. John
Hi James. Welcome to the forum! Seacoast Families in Nature looks like a wonderful program. You also have a great web site. I look forward to your contributions here and to keeping up with your activities. You might enjoy our Natural Teachers Network. I hope you make yourself at home in various discussions and groups, post pictures and blogs, and enjoy the community. Cheers!
