James, thanks for this invitation to participate in the EduStrategies Online School discussion forum. I will take a look and probably post a few children and nature comments to stir the pot. Thanks for joining the Natural Teachers Network. I hope you will share your ideas and suggestions for teachers to use the natural world as an extension of their classroom. It sounds like you have a lot of experience with "educational strategies" and teachers will need all the help they can get to overcome the inherent barriers of a rule-bound system.
