Perrin is a former farm girl, artist, and journalist who now lives with her husband and daughter, and a bunch of animals, on their 10-acre preserve in north San Diego County. She established Carlsbad Art Farm to open up this woodland habitat to the community's children in a meaningful way. Kids who come to Art Farm learn about this vital riparian habitat and the life it supports. Through this, we plant the seeds of future conservation.
