Nurturing Nature Collection of books: Connecting "with care" to our world
I am an Educator of over 18 years, Author and Certified Children's Yoga Instructor.

I have released a Collection of books on nature, healthy living alternatives, yoga, and our environment for children and families. My children’s books from my Nurturing Nature Collection: connecting "with care" to our world are great children's books and resource tools for any parent, instructor or educators’ children’s programs. I have written and had articles published in Educational Magazines on the positive impact of Nature on our young and R. Louv and N.D.D. as well as benifits of yoga for children.

My currently published books include:

"The Day Mother Nature Decided To Paint Her House", a book on tree conservation and leaves change is a whimsical tale of Mother Nature and her mishaps while painting her home which result in the season of fall and leaves changing. A great resource tool on trees and season change.

"Winston The Whale And The Blanket Of Darkness", a book on ocean conservation tells the story of Winston The Humpback Whale and the perils he faces from pollution in his home, the ocean. A wonderful additional resource for ocean conservation and the effects of pollution.

"Stories That Come Alive Through Yoga" , a great resource tool for /camps/educators/instructors incorporating yoga into their program. In it are stories specifically written for a yoga class with yoga poses, pose instruction, illustrations breathing exercises and a relaxation exercise.. A great way for children to learn yoga and have fun too.

All books contain websites, glossary, and resources for further discussion and extended lesson planning information on subject matter to educate and help our environment and create a healthier “world” and a healthier “us”.

My workshops which I also offer throughout the U.S. are book readings and information from my books: "The Day Mother Nature Decided To Paint Her House" ( on season change and tree conservation) and "Winston The Whale And The Blanket Of Darkness" (on ocean conservation)and presentations from my yoga book: "Stories That Come Alive Through Yoga" and how to incorporate lesson planning for yoga with children into a children's class setting.

More and more educators, conservationist, families, yoga instructors, and therapists are praising the benefits of books like these for our youth, including the endorsement by the President: Patricia Dischler of National Association for Family Child Care: NAFCC as a resource for educators in their programs.

or for testimonials and published articles.

My books are available and discounted for schools and/or children's nature programs through myself/or the website on request, and are also available on in print and e book in US Europe and UK.

The more we connect with nature and spark an interest in our young to the importance of nature in their lives the better our future for us all!

When I completed researching my last book Winston the Whale And The Blanket Of Darkness, about a Humpback Whale, Winston and the perils he faces due to the increasing pollution to our oceans and beaches, I sat at my computer…
