Natural Leaders Network; Austin Child Guidance Center
I grew up in Southeast Texas where I spent many days wandering through the pine forests, following my imagination on whatever journey it wished to pursue. I moved to Austin, Texas where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work. I currently work as a therapist to at-risk teenagers and their parents. I passionately believe that nature heals the soul and everyone should have equal access to a safe, natural sanctuary where they find peace and healing. With much help and encouragement, I created a Children’s Healing Garden at Austin Child Guidance Center so the children seeking mental health services could have a beautiful outdoor retreat to assist in their healing process.
I practice a deep respect for this Earth I am temporarily visiting and appreciate learning new ways to ensure many generations will have the same opportunity.
I find harmony in the mountains, long hikes, and watching leaves dance in the wind!
"Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts."
