Bio: The Friends is a non-profit organization which organizes most of the educational programming, stewarship and commmunity events in Tryon Creek State Park. We bring thousands of people to the park annually including approximately 1,000 volunteers who help run the nature center, host work parties, guide people through the park and help with events.
