Final snippet number ten from 'The Naturals; The Story of Earth'

There are ten stories within my book, 'The Naturals':  The Story of Cloudy, Snowy, Windy, Moony, Hailstones, Sunny, Rainbow, Rainy, Starry and Earth. They are to be read to 4-10 year olds so that they may feel the connection with our Natural World.  Once they can feel that our Natural World is alive and compassionate and looking after us all, they will want to look after it right back!  Here is a snippet from my final story in my book, 'The Story of Earth':'How will I know which way is the…See More

Introducing 'The Naturals' Children's Book - www.thenaturals.uk.com

I am a 45 year old twice-widowed mum of five and I have written ten connecting children's stories. They are together in one book entitled 'The Naturals' which aims to help children see that our natural world is alive and compassionate and always has our best interests at heart! The heart of my stories lies within the Native American Proverb; 'We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.' All ten stories are to be read to children and I hope to bring a sense of…See More

Hi Sharon! I echo Juliet and John's welcomes and urging to join the International Group here, among others. I agree that your book sounds lovely - congratulations on publication! I hope you make yourself at home here and find the forum a rich source of resources and camaraderie.

Hi Sharon

I found the Twitter link! Twitter takes a wee bit of getting used to. It may be worthwhile going to Suz Lipman's twitter site - she runs it for C&NN and following everyone on the list! Also on my Twitter page I've different lists - so again looking at the play one, or the outdoor one, etc and following people there may help. Use the hashtags "playoutdoors" "children" and "nature" and these will help spread the word about your book.

I started off with one tweet per day until I got used to it all. I'm a slow learner.

All the best
Juliet

Hi Sharon

Thanks for finding C&NN Connect. I've just been onto your website and ordered your book with great anticipation!

I presume the book will be available in the US too? Looking at the themes and descriptions of each story, it sounds like it will appeal over there too.

Please do keep in touch and hope you are enjoying the summer.

Best wishes
Juliet

PS It could just be me or the Internet, but your Twitter link doesn't work.

PPS There's an international group here on C&NN Connect. Please do join.
