Susi McMillan grew up in Germany and has vivid childhood memories of exploring the outdoors, playing in the forest, fields and mountains. She now lives with her family on the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island and has embarked on the adventure of becoming a Forest School practitioner - connecting kids with the outdoors to help them explore and celebrate the natural world around them! As the leader of Panorama's Forest Explorer program, Susi will ensure play-based and child- inquiry-based learning takes place in the great outdoors. She is combining her knowledge in the event planning and early child care education in a forest setting where every day is a new adventure!
