Bio: Suz Lipman has more than 25 years experience as a writer, editor, social media manager, community builder, and advocate for getting children into nature. She served on her local Safe Routes to Schools Task Force for 3 years and as a Girl Scout troop leader for 7.

Because we have relatively few large metropolises and an abundance of the natural world left most people here don't see a need to reconnect with it. I'd rather not wait until it's mostly gone to begin to reconnect with the natural world!
